Job summary

Weir Esco in Newton, Mississippi, is seeking a Production Team Member - Molds for the 1st shift on site. You will mold production molds, operate the continuous mixer, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure quality molds meet schedules.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, strong reading/writing and math skills, and a solid commitment to safety and quality. Experience with molding equipment and basic maintenance is a plus; travel is minimal and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

Ability to operate molding equipment and perform preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities

Perform all aspects of molding including producing molds according to daily schedules, ensuring correct patterns and pattern IDs are used.
Set cores accurately in the cope and drag, operate equipment and computers to process molds to the next station efficiently and correctly.
Inspect patterns per schedule, maintain a clean and hazard-free work area, and follow all policies and work instructions.
Demonstrate 100% commitment to zero harm behaviors supporting a world-class safety culture.
Travel requirements: minimal to no travel required; role is primarily onsite.
