Qualifications

• Demonstrated processing or mechanical experience required.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 3+ years molding Set-Up Technician or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with resins and molding processes.
• Completion of Plastics Engineering Technology degree (HCTC) or 5+ years Set-Up Technician experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up to shut down of production cells and ensure safe, efficient operation during runs.
• Perform daily setups, startups, shutdowns and end-of-run line clearance.
• Troubleshoot presses, equipment, molding processes and cycles.
• Input data into ERP/Real Time systems to maximize press efficiency.
• Write programs and adjust robots as needed in the department.
• Train other personnel per Supervisor directions.
• Back up for Material Handler as needed.
• Drive改善 and root-cause corrections using standard tools.
