Mold Craft, a Westfall Technik Company, is seeking a 1st Shift Polisher at our Willernie, MN site. Join a fast-growing plastics precision team, polishing components to tight tolerances and supporting rapid lead times.

You will operate polishing equipment, inspect tolerances, and collaborate with Tooling and Eng teams. We offer competitive hourly pay, holidays, 401K match, and comprehensive medical benefits.

Competenze

• Two-year technical degree preferred or equivalent mold polishing experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate polishing equipment (learn on the job).
• Passion for accuracy, precision, and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Mansioni

• Operate and demonstrate ability on all polishing equipment and techniques.
• Inspect and check component tolerances.
• Polish parts per finish requirements within tolerance.
• Adjust schedule within department to maximize output and reduce lead times.

We are currently seeking a 1st Shift Polisher with the below qualifications:

Professional Attributes

• Neat, organized and have the desire to chase perfection even when it is not obtainable
• Meet scheduled hours and dates of all tasks, with the goal of completing tasks ahead of schedule
• Utilize machinery & prioritize equipment usage to obtain the quickest lead times
• Maximize efficiency by working to minimize setup and run times in all machines
• Maintain an attitude of Continuous Improvement. Make suggestions for improvements
• Operate and demonstrate ability on all polishing equipment and techniques
• Assure that the quality of work is to the satisfaction of the internal customer (Tool makers) & Westfall Engineering guidelines
• Inspect and check component tolerances
• Utilize print as necessary to polish parts per finish requirements and within tolerance
• Adjust schedule as needed within the department to maximize output and reduce lead times under the direction of the Tooling Manager
• Additional duties as assigned

Desired Skills And Experience

• Two-year Technical degree preferred or experience as a close tolerance mold polisher, preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to operate polishing equipment. Can be learned on the job.
• Passion for accuracy, precision, and perfection; strong attention to detail
• Organizational Abilities
• Proven experience working in a team environment and demonstrate ability to work in a team to accomplish all tasks of the department
• Effective communication skills both verbally and written
