Westfall Technik, LLC is hiring a Tool Maker Trainee for the Wakefield, MI location. The 2nd shift runs Monday–Friday, 3:00pm–11:00pm. The role involves operating mills and grinders, assisting mold makers, and ensuring high-quality parts. Strong mechanical aptitude and teamwork are essential.

We are currently seeking Tool Maker Trainee, with the below qualifications

2nd shift: Monday- Friday, 3:00pm- 11:00pm

Professional Attributes

• Efficiently operate manual machines such as mills and grinders and heat treat ovens.
• Efficiently operate the wet grinder and grind parts per direction and to print.
• Assist the lead mold makers with assembling molds complete with a goal of making good parts at first sample.
• Meet scheduled hours and dates of all tasks, with the goal of completing ahead of schedule.
• Maintain an attitude of Continuous Improvement. Make suggestions for improvements.
• Maintain a department that is neat, organized, and clean at all times.
• Carry out tasks for tool building under the direction of the department lead person.
• Learn mold Fit, Assemble, Complete, and Inspect of injection molds.
• Responsible for Department Housekeeping, Cleanliness, and Organization as required
