Job summary

Cooper-Standard Automotive, Inc. in East Tawas, MI is seeking a full-time injection mold operator. Base pay starts at $14.00/hour with a shift premium. Flexible schedules, overtime potential, and comprehensive benefits from day one of the following month are available.

Shifts include 1st: 6:30am–2:30pm ($14.00), 2nd: 2:30pm–10:30pm ($14.75), 3rd: 10:30pm–6:30am ($14.50). Growth opportunities and health coverage are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; equivalent options.
• Prior manufacturing experience desired but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate injection mold machines to produce quality products safely.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain a neat, clean plant workplace.
• Perform visual and gauge checks for quality.
• Follow operator work instructions.
• Stand 8–12 hours in steel-toed shoes.
• Collaborate with team and be flexible with overtime.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

Full‑time injection mold operator positions are located in East Tawas, MI. Base pay starts at $14.00 per hour plus a shift premium. Flexible build‑your‑own schedules are available for full‑time and part‑time positions and may include mandatory overtime. • 1st shift: 6:30am – 2:30pm ($14.00 per hour)

Primary Responsibilities

• Operate injection mold machines to efficiently produce a quality product in a safe manner.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain a neat and clean plant workplace.
• Perform visual and gauge checks to ensure a quality product is produced/shipped.
• Follow operator work instructions.
• Stand 8–12 hours in steel‑toed shoes.
• Work well with others in a team environment.
• Be flexible with overtime.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Environment / Work Conditions

The work environment and physical requirements are typical of a manufacturing floor. Employees must wear proper personal protection equipment. Occasional exposure to fumes and dust may occur.
