Cooper Standard on-site in Michigan is seeking a mold technician to support injection-molding operations. The role requires setup and changes of molds, equipment maintenance, and ensuring efficient workflow.
Training on the first shift may be required before moving to the off shift. Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, forklift certification, and a minimum of 3 years in injection molding, setup, and processing.
Under the direction of the shift lead or supervisor, the employee performs mold changes, sets up and ensures proper operation of injection‑molding machines. The role requires proper handling of material, molded production, and related inventory control. The candidate must be experienced with manufacturing and material‑handling equipment and be flexible to work overtime on short notice. Training on the first shift may be required before moving to the off shift.
