Job summary

RESRG Automotive seeks a Mold Department Manager in Newbern, TN to oversee molding activities, optimize processes, and drive quality improvements. The role reports to Operations and partners with Engineering and Tooling to meet customer requirements.

Ideal candidates will have 5–8 years in production management, a related Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, and strong knowledge of TS-16949 standards. This is a hands-on leadership position in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years progressive experience within the production management field.
• Bachelor's degree in related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of TS-16949.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and coordinate plant molding activities.
• Ensure schedules meet production plans and optimize cycles to maximize output.
• Review mold designs based on customer specifications.
• Work with Engineering on tool designs for optimum cycles and quality parts.
• Monitor molding tool shop for repairs and maintenance.
• Develop and maintain processes to minimize waste and ensure quality standards.
• Train and inform associates on quality requirements and policies.
• Improve production processes to reduce waste and enhance efficiency.
• Provide input on labor and gross margin for customer orders.
