Job summary

Biomerics is seeking a Mold Maintenance Technician to support molding production by troubleshooting and maintaining production tooling. The role requires hands-on experience with multi-cavity molds, interpreting blueprints, CAD, and surface tooling processes.

Responsibilities include mold cleaning, changeovers, diagnosing issues, and coordinating with leadership on repair timing. Occasional overtime or off-shift support may be required in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in the maintenance of multi-cavity close tolerance molds.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2008 & ISO 13485: 2003.
• Quality program and safety knowledge.
• Appicable departmental Procedures, Work Instructions, and Forms.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and changeover of production molds to insure production readiness.
• Diagnose quality issues (root cause) and take corrective action to return the mold to production.
• Make recommendations for needed repairs or improvements.
• Keep documentation of mold repairs/modifications current.
• Takes direction from Mold Maintenance Lead Person.
• Consults with leadership on production requirements for timing of repairs.
