Job summary

Caliberr Staffing seeks skilled Mold Makers to join our expanding team in Rochester, MI. We offer additional compensation for night and weekend shifts and flexible scheduling to support our staff.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of hands‑on experience with production injection molds, the ability to breakdown and reconstruct molds, and skills operating grinders, drill presses, engine lathes, and material handling equipment. Motivated professionals who work independently are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Experience with production injection molds.
• Ability to breakdown and reconstruct molds and perform repairs.
• Identify and resolve issues in electrical components and hot runner systems.
• Knowledge of installing hydraulic and water lines.
• Operate surface grinders, drill presses and engine lathes.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain mold equipment to support production.
• Repair and overhaul molds to ensure long‑term reliability.
• Troubleshoot electrical and hot runner issues in molds.
• Assist with setup and installation of hydraulic and water lines.
• Handle overhead cranes and forklifts to move heavy materials.

We are currently seeking skilled and seasoned Mold Makers to join our growing team. To support our staff, we provide additional compensation for night and weekend shifts, along with options for flexible scheduling.

Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications:

• At least 2 to 3 years of hands‑on experience working with production injection molds.
• Skilled in the routine breakdown and reconstruction of molds, including performing necessary repairs and upkeep to ensure long‑term reliability.
• Capable of identifying and resolving issues related to electrical components and hot runner systems.
• Construct and install custom hydraulic and water lines.
• Experienced in the operation of essential machinery, such as surface grinders, drill presses, and engine lathes.
• Competent in the safe operation of overhead cranes and forklifts to assist with heavy lifting and material transport.
• A proactive professional who can manage tasks independently and maintain productivity with little oversight.
