Job summary

Hi-Tech Mold & Engineering, Inc. in Rochester Hills, MI, seeks qualified mold makers for our production team.

Applicants should have 2–3 years of mold making experience on production injection molds and be proficient in disassembly and reassembly of TH & BH blocks, including repairs and preventive maintenance. You will manufacture hydraulic and water lines, operate a surface grinder, drill press, and engine lathe, and handle overhead crane and forklift duties.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years mold maker experience on production injection molds.
• Proficient in disassembly and reassembly of TH & BH blocks, including repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Must diagnose and repair electrical or hot runner systems.
• Manufacture new hydraulic and water lines.
• Proficient with surface grinder, drill press, and engine lathe.
• Experience operating overhead crane and driving forklift.
• Self-starter with ability to work with minimal supervision.

Job description

Hi-Tech Mold & Engineering is looking to add qualified experienced Mold makers to our Team. We offer a night shift premium and weekend shift premiums. We offer some flexible schedule arrangements.

Qualified applicants should have:

• minimum of 2-3 years Mold Maker experience on production injection molds
• proficient at general disassembly and reassembly of TH & BH Blocks including repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Must be able to diagnose and correct electrical or hot runner system repairs
• manufacture new hydraulic and water lines
• be proficient with surface grinder, drill press & engine lathe operation.
• Experienced in operating overhead crane and driving forklift
• be self-starter and work with minimal supervision.
