Position: Mold Maker

Location: Aurora, Ohio

Salary Range: $28.00 to $32.00 per hour

Job Description

A manufacturing company in the Aurora / Solon, Ohio area seeks an experienced Mold Maker skilled in mold maintenance, repair, and fabrication of molds and fixtures.

Requirements

• High School diploma, GED, Vocational, Trade, or Technical School education (Machinist training preferred with diploma or certificate)
• Minimum of 2 years of technical school training and/or 5 years of experience as a Mold Maker
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, sketches, and technical specifications; follow verbal and written instructions
• Proficiency in advanced mathematical concepts, including plane and solid geometry and trigonometry
• Working knowledge of injection molds, mold maintenance, repair, and manufacturing processes
• Experience with project estimation, planning, and completion
• Ability to plan and fabricate cavity components collaboratively with engineering teams
• Familiarity with all mold making equipment
• Experience with the 8-Stages of Systematic Mold Maintenance
• Ability to record data accurately for mold maintenance tracking
• Adherence to safety and housekeeping standards (5S)
• Familiarity with SPA (Single Point of Accountability) reporting
• Physical ability to lift up to 60 pounds
• Must pass criminal background check and 10-panel drug screen
• U.S. citizen or Green Card holder
