Job summary

LEGO Group in United States (Virginia) is seeking a Mold Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance and cleaning of injection molds, disassemble/reassemble molds for detailed cleaning, and troubleshoot minor mold issues during production. You will document activities in CMMS, support repair technicians, and keep the workshop safe and organized.

A technical diploma and 1–2 years' experience are expected, with readiness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Technical diploma or equivalent in Machines & Tools, Mechanical Technology, or related field.
• 1–2 years hands-on experience in injection mold maintenance or related plastic injection molding environment.
• Strong knowledge of injection mold assembly and disassembly.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices and use of precision measurement instruments.
• Experience with CMMS software (Maintain IT) and basic Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and cleaning of injection molds.
• Disassemble and reassemble molds to perform detailed cleaning, lubrication, and inspection tasks.
• Identify and troubleshoot minor mold issues that arise during cleaning or production.
• Log all maintenance activities accurately in the CMMS (Maintain IT).
• Support Mold Repair Technicians on urgent repairs as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the workshop and mold warehouse.
