Job summary
Thogus Products Company is seeking a Mold Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance on precision molds to support the injection molding process. The role offers 2nd or 3rd shift with a 40-hour schedule and potential overtime, along with a Sign-On Bonus and comprehensive benefits.
Responsibilities include mold disassembly/reassembly, inspection for damage, blueprint reading, and maintaining an organized tool room.
Qualifications
- Valid combination of education and experience in mold maintenance.
- Experience reading blueprints and tool designs.
- Experience in preventive maintenance on molds, dies, or similar.
- Injection molding experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on molds by disassembling, cleaning, and reassembling.
- Inspect molds for damage and perform minor repairs.
- Read tooling blueprints and engineering prints, and work orders.
- Organize tool room and request supplies as needed.
- Update tool room schedule with minimal direction from management.
- Take direction from Lead Tooling Tech and Tool Room Manager.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Perform other duties to support organizational success.
