HellermannTyton Corporation in Milwaukee is seeking a Mold Maintenance Technician to evaluate, maintain and repair injection molds and perform mold conversions under the supervision of the Mold Maintenance Supervisor.

This role requires hands-on machining, documentation in tooling files, and adherence to ISO/IATF16949 quality standards. Forklift experience and ability to work overtime are valued in a safety-focused manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Above average mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to use precision measuring equipment and tool room equipment (mills, lathes, drill press, surface grinders, saws to fabricate parts).
• Aptitude for very close tolerance precision work.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a machine shop or Mold Maintenance department with the ability to read blue prints.
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
• Ability for daily and weekend overtime work required.
• Experience working with injection molding tools.
• Prior forklift experience preferred.
• Must be able to stand/walk for a minimum of 8 hours.

Responsabilités

• Clean all injection molding tools at the end of each production run.
• Completely field strip mold according to PM schedule.
• Test and repair problems related to heater, manifolds, and torpedoes.
• Make repairs or replace components as needed.
• All work is to be documented in tooling files and computer databases.
