Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a molding operator to manage machine controls, regulate temperatures and pressures, and ensure quality parts meet customer specifications. The role requires adherence to safety policies, PPE usage, and maintaining a clean, efficient work area.

Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds, work under pressure to meet deadlines, and contribute to a team environment while following established procedures and routines.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work in a group environment, and ask for help when needed.
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Set machine controls, regulating molding temperature, volume of plastic, molding pressure and time, according to knowledge of plastics and molding procedures.
• Follow Company safety and break policies, work in a safe manner, follow directions, and wear company issued Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Immediately report any unsafe activity or accident to area Supervisor.
• Keep area clean, follow good housekeeping practices.
• Work in an efficient manner maintaining part shift throughput quantity requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
