Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated in Oklahoma City is seeking a reliable mold machine operator to run molding equipment in accordance with quality standards and customer specifications. You will set machine controls, monitor temperature, material volume, pressure and cycle times to produce quality parts.

The role requires following safety rules, maintaining a clean area, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working with team members to meet shift and production targets.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work in a group environment, and ask for help when needed.
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Set machine controls, regulating molding temperature, volume of plastic, molding pressure and time, according to knowledge of plastics and molding procedures.
• Follow Company safety and break policies, work in a safe manner, follow directions, and wear company issued Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Immediately report any unsafe activity or accident to area Supervisor.
• Keep area clean, follow good housekeeping practices.
• Work in an efficient manner maintaining part shift throughput quantity requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
