Job summary

Magna Exteriors is seeking a maintenance technician responsible for repairing and maintaining equipment to ensure safe, efficient operation and uptime. You will work under the Molding Maintenance Supervisor, performing electrical diagnostics and coordinating with the team.

The role requires standing most of the shift, lifting up to 50 pounds, and following safety policies. Regular/ permanent, on-site with the Magna Exteriors group.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; an associate degree or 6 years related experience preferred.
• Must be able to perform standing/walking 8 hours and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain all equipment and machines to ensure safe, efficient operation and uptime goals.
• Inspect machinery for defects and perform preventative maintenance as required.
• Replace electrical components and wiring as needed and ensure conformity to electrical codes.
• Test and repair electrical components and equipment to maintain system integrity.
• Collaborate with departmental personnel to coordinate maintenance activities.
