Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Mold Design Engineer for a leading manufacturing company. You will design molds for blow molding, perform design reviews, and ensure production release standards meet cost, quality, and timing requirements.

Responsibilities include interacting with quality and purchasing, providing daily progress updates, and maintaining technical skills through training. A Bachelor's in Engineering or 3+ years of design experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• Proven record for solving complex technical issues in a structured manner.
• Solid performance with SolidWorks and 3DX.
• Relevant experience with mechanical analysis and tolerance/fit analysis.
• Strong communicator able to provide detailed information to different audiences.

My client is a leading manufacturing company who is growing and looking to add a Mold Design Engineer! The Mold Design Engineer will analyze assigned Order Sales Sheets (OSS) and Change Notices (CN) for engineering content and impact, execute the design accordingly and provide daily progress updates to the Mold Design Engineering Working Lead. The Mold Design Engineer ensures design and configuration work complies with production release standards and meets cost, quality, and timing requirements.

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline or +3 years of equivalent design work experience.
