Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Mold Maintenance Technician in Lansdale, PA to support a busy tooling department. This hands-on role focuses on cleaning, rebuilding, and maintaining multi-cavity injection molds.

Ideal candidates have strong mechanical aptitude, experience with maintenance or tooling, and can read blueprints and use precision measuring tools. Shift is M–F, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM with overtime and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving ability.
• Experience with mechanical maintenance, repair, assembly or tooling is preferred.
• Ability to disassemble and rebuild mechanical components.
• Comfortable reading blueprints and using measuring tools.
• Basic machine tool experience is a plus.
• Forklift experience preferred; sit-down forklift operation required.
• Willingness to learn injection mold maintenance and tooling processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on multi-cavity plastic injection molds.
• Disassemble, clean, inspect, lubricate and rebuild molds.
• Identify worn or damaged components and assist with repairs.
• Replace springs, pins, bushings, inserts and other tooling components.
• Assist Toolmakers with mold troubleshooting, repairs and modifications.
• Prepare molds for production and support mold changes.
• Read blueprints and use precision measuring tools.
• Use basic machine tools such as lathes, mills and grinders as needed.
• Maintain an organized tool room and accurate maintenance records.
• Operate a sit-down forklift to move and store molds.
• Follow safety and quality procedures and communicate tooling concerns.

Job Details

We are seeking a Mold Maintenance Technician to support a busy Tooling Department. This is a hands‑on opportunity for a mechanically inclined individual who enjoys working with tools, troubleshooting equipment, and keeping production tooling in reliable working condition.

Schedule & Compensation

$20–$25/hour, depending on experience

Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

What You'll Do
