Job summary

Activar Incorporated is seeking a Production Operator to operate molding, coating, or pad printing equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will set up jobs, review run requirements, obtain materials, and draft procedures to ensure high-quality output.

The role requires reliable teamwork, basic blueprint understanding, and strong math and safety awareness. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and be able to lift up to 60 pounds and work around equipment safely.

Qualifications

• Tenacity in overcoming obstacles while maintaining productive and positive working relationships.
• Ability to execute in a rapidly changing fast paced environment that requires strong teamwork.
• Understanding of tools, gauges, equipment, and other instruments used to perform position.
• Basic ability to understand blueprints, schematics, and instrumentation diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Set-up jobs and perform molding, coating, or pad printing operations to ensure the highest quality of production.
• Review daily manufacturing functions and job orders to ensure awareness of requirements.
• Obtain necessary materials and tools required to achieve expected run rates.
• Draft and maintain procedure sheets.
• Check all parts for excellent quality.
• Assemble and package parts to customer’s specifications.
• Ensure the safe operation of equipment.
• Report problems to supervisor/lead/manager that may affect safety, equipment, tooling, or quality.
