Job summary

ThermoSafe is seeking a Changeover Technician for our facility in Putnam, CT. You will operate a mold changer, install and start molds, and ensure accurate data communication while adhering to safety procedures.

This role requires understanding of molding processes and commitment to a safe, efficient production line. The position offers first shift hours with a sign-on bonus of $3,000 and compensation around $23.87 per hour.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering background or mechanical manufacturing experience preferred.
• Safety-focused with injury-free environment mindset.
• Ability to follow safety rules and establish Safe Work Procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate a mold changer machine to change molds.
• Install and start existing molds with established processes and key parameters.
• Understand and interpret quality data related to the molding process.
• Document and communicate data accurately and thoroughly.
• Adhere to established safety procedures in all tasks.
