Job summary

Eurofins Built Environment Testing is seeking a Mold/Asbestos Analyst in Las Vegas, NV. The analyst will perform asbestos PLM and mold analysis, prepare and analyze environmental samples, and ensure data accuracy in the LIMS to generate client reports.

Responsibilities include data reviews, QA support, and coordinating sample workload. A bachelor’s degree in a related science and English proficiency are required, with a sign-on bonus available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience performing asbestos PLM (Polarized Light Microscopes) and/or mold analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in biology, geology or a closely related science REQUIRED.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
• Professional working proficiency in English is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze aerobiological and environmental samples for asbestos and fungi.
• Enter and report analytical data using the LIMS.
• Perform data reviews for other analysts’ work.
• Support QA by assisting in test methods and quality control samples.
• Coordinate workload to meet due dates and sample hold times.
