APDerm is seeking a Mohs Surgical Coordinator to support dermatologic surgical services, focusing on Mohs, excisions, ED&C, and related follow-up care. The role emphasizes accurate scheduling, patient communication, and cross-team coordination to ensure high-quality care.

Ideal candidates will have strong organizational and interpersonal skills, familiarity with dermatologic workflows, and experience with pathology management. This hybrid role requires in-office presence per APDerm needs.

Formación

• Mandatory high school diploma or GED.
• Preferred dermatology, Mohs experience and/or surgical scheduling.
• Preferred medical assistant certification.

Responsabilidades

• Schedule Mohs, excision, ED&C, LN2, and cosmetic procedures in-office and outpatient.
• Ensure proper time allocation and verify equipment.
• Review schedules daily for accuracy and maximize slot utilization.
• Manage waitlists and cancellations; move patients into open slots.
• Coordinate rescheduling to avoid gaps.
• Apply Mohs Appropriate Use Criteria during scheduling.
• Serve as primary contact for Mohs and related procedures.
• Conduct pre- and post-operative calls with instructions.
• Notify patients of pathology results as directed.
• Maintain pathology logs and meet SLAs.
• Coordinate follow-up for pathology requiring additional treatment.
• Communicate results and next steps per provider instructions.
• Handle pathology coordination and liaise with labs.
• Follow up with labs and track reports.
