Job summary

Kaizen Lab Inc. is seeking a Mohs Medical Assistant to support dermatology and Mohs surgery teams. You will prepare patients and rooms, handle specimen labeling, and document procedures using ModMed/EMA.

The role focuses on accurate vital signs, sterile technique, and clear patient communication. In this in-person position, you will assist clinicians during procedures, manage post-procedure education, and help with administrative tasks such as calls and prescription refills under provider

Qualifications

• Experience in dermatology or Mohs surgery preferred.
• Familiarity with ModMed/EMA is essential.
• Strong patient-service orientation and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Prepare examination rooms and surgical areas for Mohs procedures; ensure sterility of instruments and supplies.
• Assist with patient intake: collect histories, verify insurance, explain steps.
• Measure vital signs to support clinical assessments and documentation.
• Hand instruments and maintain sterile technique during procedures.
• Document patient information and treatment notes in ModMed/EMA accurately.
