Vancouver Clinic is seeking a Histology Tech to perform orienting, embedding, cutting, and staining of frozen tissue specimens. You will freeze tissue samples, cut frozen sections and mount slides, and prepare reagents with quality control in mind.
Qualifications include six months of histology experience with frozen sections, Mohs/derm experience preferred, and HT/HTL ASCP certification preferred. Excellent attendance is required as part of our care team.

In this role you will perform orienting, embedding, cutting, and staining of frozen tissue specimens. You will freeze tissue samples, cut frozen sections and mount samples on slides, prepare correct reagents and solutions utilized in procedure, and maintain quality control logs for slide review. To be successful in this role you need clinical experience, a passion for team building and integration, and the ability to maintain a positive attitude while working in a fast-paced environment.
