Qualifications

• Experience with Mohs histotechnology, including embedding, orientation, cryosectioning, and frozen section preparation.
• Proficiency in H&E staining techniques and familiarity with special stains used in dermatopathology.
• Strong attention to detail, specimen labeling accuracy, and adherence to quality control procedures.
• Ability to follow standardized protocols, maintain laboratory equipment, and uphold safety and infection control standards.
• Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with dermatologists, nurses, and other clinical staff.
• Prior experience in a Mohs or surgical pathology lab preferred; HT or HTL (ASCP) certification and formal histology training are beneficial.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, perform fine manual tasks, and manage time in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Role Description
