Job summary

PIM Brands in New Jersey is seeking a Mogul Lead to oversee all processing operations from Kitchen through Shakeout. You will provide frontline leadership on the manufacturing floor, drive daily performance, ensure safety, food safety, quality, and on-time production.

This role partners with maintenance, quality, engineering, planning and sanitation to hit production objectives, coach operators, enforce standard work, and advance continuous improvement across the Mogul area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing or food production experience.
• Experience leading high-volume production lines.
• Strong understanding of safety, quality, and process control.
• Proven ability to make sound decisions in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily leadership and direction for all Processing operations, including Kitchen, Batch Making, Trucking, Mogul Operations, Pickout, Curing and Shakeout.
• Maintain ownership of daily floor execution and ensure production schedules are achieved safely and efficiently.
• Establish clear expectations and priorities for processing personnel throughout the shift.
• Monitor production flow and coordinate resources to maintain uninterrupted operations.
• Ensure proper staffing, coverage and deployment of personnel based on operational needs.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for production issues and manufacturing challenges.
• Maintain a visible presence on the production floor and provide hands‑on leadership throughout the shift.
• Promote and reinforce a culture where safety is the highest priority and ensure compliance with GMPs, HACCP, SQF and regulatory requirements.
• Drive achievement of key performance metrics including throughput, schedule attainment, labor efficiency, quality, waste reduction and OEE.
• Coach Mogul Operators and Technicians; support onboarding and training.
• Foster accountability, teamwork and continuous learning across the department.
• Coordinate activities with Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, Sanitation, Planning and Leadership for production continuity.
