General Dynamics Electric Boat in Groton, CT, seeks entry-level Module Lead Engineers to guide Engine Room or Exterior modules for SSBN 826 construction. You will act as the engineering liaison to trades, coordinate responses, and provide status updates at shipyard meetings to minimize schedule risk.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, resolve emergent issues, review drawings and change notices, and support daily production activities across the module build and testing phases at the Groton

Competenze

• Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills required.
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering by December 2026.
• Ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance or higher.

Mansioni

• Provide engineering oversight to emergent shipyard issues and communicate assessments.
• Support trades daily in navigating work packages and build sequence.
• Ensure drawing revisions and change notices are prioritized and processed.
• Attend production meetings and drive completion of actions supporting construction.
• Communicate project risks and coordinate engineering with shipyard teams.
• Conduct multidisciplinary engineering evaluations for manufacturing and construction needs.
• Support testing, certification events and government certification meetings.
