Job summary

Aeva is seeking an Engineering Program Manager - Module to steer complex photonics development from design to production. You will coordinate build/test activities, manage vendor relationships, and align schedules with high-volume manufacturing goals in a fast-moving startup.

Responsibilities include driving design validation, fixture/test development, and cross-functional collaboration with photonics, packaging, and supplier teams. Strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex photonics/semiconductor development projects.
• Strong understanding of high-volume manufacturing process flows.
• Experience with silicon photonics tapeouts, wafer test, and module development.
• Ability to coordinate design, validation, and production activities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with automotive supply chain is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive design, validation, process development, and production activities with photonics and packaging teams.
• Oversee development of fixtures and testers to support manufacturing.
• Drive closure on technical issues and roadblocks to meet milestones.
• Develop and manage project schedules; communicate risks/status to stakeholders.
• Interface with suppliers for development activities.
• Lead photonics, semiconductor laser diode, and transceiver development from design to production.
• Navigate silicon photonics tapeouts, wafer test, and module development workflows.
• Facilitate design requirements reviews and status meetings.
• Coordinate validation and production test flows from wafer to module.
• Operate in a fast-moving startup with scrum/agile practices.
