The role emphasizes hands-on learning, collaboration with engineering teams, and applying statistical analysis and device characterization techniques such as SEM/TEM to deliver reliable production processes.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in a STEM field with focus on materials science, chemistry, physics, or engineering.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor processing fundamentals including lithography, etching, polishing, and deposition.
  • Familiarity with statistical data analysis and experimental design methodologies.
  • Experience with materials and physical device characterization techniques like SEM or TEM from coursework or research.

Responsibilities

  • Support development and implementation of manufacturing processes for a module in semiconductor production.
  • Sustain and enhance manufacturing equipment performance for reliability and efficiency.
  • Assist in troubleshooting equipment issues and performing qualification activities to meet production standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize process control methodologies and improve process efficiency.
  • Apply statistical analysis and experimental design to improve reliability and throughput.
  • Gain hands-on experience with materials and device characterization techniques such as SEM and TEM.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for process control systems and methodologies.
