Job summary

Eaton’s Fibrebond team in Minden, LA is seeking a Structural Prefab Technician to read blueprints, set up laser and fabrication equipment, and fabricate metal components for modular buildings. You will support production schedules and continuous improvement within the Structural Prefab department.

The role requires reading drawings, performing measurements, and ensuring quality and safety. overtime includes occasional Saturdays; paid at the described hourly rate.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Read blueprints, perform measurements, and work with fabrication equipment.
• Maintain quality standards and safety while fabricating components.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules.
• Set up and operate fabrication equipment to cut and form metal components to specification.
• Inspect fabricated parts using measuring tools to verify quality and dimensions.
• Perform basic programming and preventative maintenance of fabrication equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
