Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Fabrication Technician to maintain, repair, and fabricate modular shelters and related structures at Holloman AFB. You will follow technical orders, inspect and repair sheet metal skins, and prepare assets for shipments while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities include documenting work orders, operating material handling equipment, and assisting other departments as needed. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Must have English reading/writing skills at a beginner level.
• Must be able to read and understand technical data, measurements, and engineering drawings.
• Maximo experience preferred.
• Must possess a valid home country driver’s license and ability to obtain host nation license.
• Must be able to operate material handling equipment.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust U.S. Government Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Repairs, inspects, fabricates, cleans, operates, maintains, and reconstitutes assets per orders and standards.
• Inspects and repairs ferrous and non-ferrous shelter structures and assembles/disassembles shelters.
• Performs sheet metal repairs and fabrications; replaces rivets and fittings.
• Prepares Work Orders and documentation; updates Maximo.
• Trips for asset shipments and prepares for air/sea/road transport as required.
• Operates material handling equipment and ensures safety standards.
