Job summary

Amentum requires a Fabrication Technician to maintain, repair, and fabricate prefabricated modular shelter structures in outdoor environments in Alaska. You will inspect metal shelters, fabricate patches, replace rivets, and manage related components while documenting work in Maximo and following safety protocols.

Responsibilities include preparing work orders, coordinating shipments of assets, and supporting real-world exercises and contingencies under USAFE guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and understand technical data, measurements and engineering drawings pertaining to Civil Engineering and BOB assets.
• Maximo experience preferred.
• Must possess a valid home country driver’s license and ability to obtain host nation driver’s license.
• Must be able to operate material handling equipment.
• Must speak, read and write English.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust U.S. Government Clearance.
• NOTE: U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, repairs, fabricates, packs and inventories prefabricated modular metal shelter structures and related equipment.
• Performs sheet metal skin repairs and fabricates patches, rivet/nut replacement, and component repairs.
• Prepares and updates documentation including Work Orders and Maximo entries.
• Ensures safety standards per Amentum and USAFE and supports contingency operations.
