Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Fabrication Technician to maintain, pack, and inventory prefabricated modular metal structures and related equipment. The role includes sheet metal skin repairs, fabrication of patches, and ensuring compliance with the Performance Work Statement.

You will also prepare documentation, coordinate with various departments, and assist in other tasks as needed. Work is outdoors and may require TDY; candidates must meet security clearance requirements and be able to operate

Qualifications

Must understand English at a beginner level.
Able to read and understand technical data, measurements and engineering drawings.
Maximo experience preferred.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust U.S. Government Clearance.
Must be able to operate material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

Repairs, inspects, fabricates, and maintains BEAR assets/equipment following appropriate orders and manuals.
Inspects and repairs metal prefab shelter structures, including assembly/disassembly of shelters.
Performs sheet metal repair schemes and replaces structural components.
Prepares and completes documentation such as Work Orders and Maximo entries.
Assists in training coworkers in repair and/or metal fabrication.
