Job summary

Accelevation is hiring a Modular Foreman to supervise data center installation teams in Dallas, TX, with travel up to 75%. You will coordinate racks, containment, and pathways, review drawings, and ensure safety and quality on site.

This frontline role supports project delivery and client satisfaction under the Superintendent's guidance. The ideal candidate has 4+ years in data center or skilled trades, OSHA certification, and a valid driver’s license, with strong communication and documentation

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years in data center installation or skilled trades.
  • Experience using telehandler.
  • Strong knowledge of drawings, specs, and field execution.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct supervision for installation scopes.
  • Coordinate rack, containment, and pathway installation activities.
  • Review submittals, shop drawings, and field details.
  • Order materials and coordinate with project leadership.
  • Submit RFIs for field conditions or scope clarifications.
  • Assist with project setup including layout and logistics.
  • Support punch list development and closeout.
  • Maintain QA/QC checklists and safety compliance.
  • Support Superintendent with daily coordination and reporting.
  • Enforce site safety requirements and lead safety meetings.
  • Lead installation crews with accountability and teamwork.

Position Summary

The Foreman provides front-line supervision and coordination of installation services within a data center environment. Supporting the Superintendent, this role assists with planning, quality control, safety enforcement, and project documentation to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project requirements.

Your Impact

As Foreman, you will lead field execution for installation scopes—including racks, containment, and pathway systems—ensuring safe operations, high-quality craftsmanship, and schedule alignment that enables successful project delivery and client satisfaction.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Provide direct supervision for assigned installation scopes or project areas.
  • Coordinate rack, containment, and pathway installation activities with field teams.
  • Review submittals, shop drawings, and detailing relevant to assigned project areas.
  • Order miscellaneous materials and coordinate material needs with project leadership.
  • Initiate Requests for Information (RFIs) to address field conditions or clarify scope.
  • Assist with initial project setup including layout, logistics, and work planning.
  • Support punch list development, management, and closeout.
  • Complete and maintain QA/QC checklists to ensure compliance with project standards.
  • Support the Superintendent with daily coordination, reporting, and field execution.
  • Enforce all site safety requirements and assist with safety meetings and job hazard analysis.
  • Provide leadership and supervision to assigned installation crews.
  • Demonstrate high levels of accountability, teamwork, and communication.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in data center installation or skilled trades.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience with Telehandler.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and field execution.
  • Ability to supervise crews and coordinate daily workflow.
  • Working knowledge of QA/QC and construction safety requirements.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with Superintendents, Engineers, and project teams.
  • Minimum of 10 years iron worker background.
Education / Certifications
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • OSHA Training Certification required.
  • Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Work occurs in active construction and data center environments and may involve exposure to noise, varying temperatures, and electrical infrastructure. Employees must be able to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, work at heights up to 90 ft, navigate restricted spaces, and wear full PPE. Reasonable accommodations may be provided.
