Job summary

ACI Mechanical & HVAC Sales is seeking a skilled Modular Fabrication Specialist to support our modular steel support systems. This hands-on role focuses on shop fabrication, preparation, and assembly from drawings and BOMs.

You will fabricate frames, racks, and pipe support components, verify dimensions, and ensure quality before shipment. The position requires safety-conscious operation of tools, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work with project teams.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on fabrication experience.
• Experience reading fabrication drawings and dimensional plans.
• Ability to measure, mark, cut, drill, and assemble steel components.
• Familiarity with fabrication tools and PPE requirements.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate modular steel support systems per drawings, details, BOMs.
• Measure, mark, and cut profiles to specified dimensions.
• Assemble frames, racks, supports, skids, and related assemblies.
• Install connectors, brackets, and fasteners per manufacturer requirements.
• Perform drilling, cutting, grinding, deburring and basic welding as needed.
• Build modules for delivery to customer jobsites.
• Review drawings and BOMs to confirm scope and dimensions.
• Coordinate with project team on fabrication needs and changes.
• Inspect components to ensure dimensional accuracy before shipment.
