CCA Professional Recruiting is seeking a hands-on Design Manager to lead Design & Engineering execution for offsite manufacturing, prefabrication, and modular construction projects. You will oversee multidisciplinary design teams and ensure fabrication-ready packages that meet budgets, schedules, and quality standards.

You will coordinate with design, engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and operations teams from planning through production release and field installation support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive design project management experience in construction, prefabrication, modular/offsite manufacturing, or AEC.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary design or engineering teams and managing multiple projects.

Responsabilités

• Lead multidisciplinary Design & Engineering activities across architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and fabrication teams.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, resources, and deliverables for on-time, cost-effective execution.
• Oversee BIM models, Revit models, technical drawings, shop drawings, BOMs, and fabrication documentation.
• Ensure designs meet project specs, codes, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with engineers and stakeholders to align design intent with manufacturability and Lean principles.
• Lead design reviews, value engineering, and constructability assessments.
• Manage design coordination and QA to resolve clashes before production release.
• Maintain design deliverables trackers and monitor progress, changes, and KPIs.
• Support BIM, Revit, AutoCAD adoption across teams and tool usage.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, procurement, and installation teams for smooth transitions.
