Job summary

Fluidstack in Austin, TX is seeking an experienced electrical engineer to design and integrate power distribution, grounding, and controls for the Modular data center product, from concept to released drawings.

You will own one-lines, panel schedules, and raceway design; resolve clashes between electrical and structure/mechanical; support factory and field with RFIs and iterative revisions; participate in prototyping and first-article reviews onsite.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering for modular construction or critical facilities.
• Hands-on design experience for complex products and prefab systems.
• Experience supporting production launches and first article runs.

Responsibilities

• Engineer the electrical systems of the modular product, power distribution, grounding, and controls integration from concept through released drawings.
• Own the one-lines, panel schedules, and cable/raceway design for factory installation and field connections.
• Resolve integration issues where electrical meets structure and mechanical; plan routings and tolerances.
• Lead electrical support for factory and field: RFIs answered same-day and revisions integrated into next release.
• Drive prototyping and validation via mockups and first-article reviews on-site.
