Job summary

Fluidstack is hiring for an electrical engineer to design and validate data center electrical distribution, from MV busways to rack UPS integration. You will run power system studies, specify major equipment, and support energization of live designs.

You will collaborate with hardware and software teams to deliver reliable, scalable infrastructure for AI workloads, with emphasis on safety, standards, and buildability.

Qualifications

• Designed electrical distribution for data centers or mission-critical facilities.
• Runs studies and validates settings.
• Specified and evaluated major distribution equipment.
• Experience energizing designs.
• Desirable: ETAP or SKM depth, MV design, UPS and static transfer systems, NEC mastery.

Responsibilities

• Engineer data center electrical distribution in the reference design: MV through busway to the rack.
• Run the studies: load flow, short circuit, coordination, arc flash in ETAP or SKM.
• Develop equipment specs: switchgear, transformers, UPS, and busway packages.
