Job summary

Fluidstack in the United States is seeking a detail-oriented Mechanical/Structural Modeler to support modular data center units. You will produce and validate detailed models and drawings covering structures, skids, piping, and assemblies.

You will ensure fabrication-level detail, maintain revision control, and keep libraries and templates clean; bonus if you have Tekla, Advance Steel, Revit, Plant 3D, or BIM coordination experience.

Qualifications

• Experience detailing for fabrication: structural steel, skids, piping, or modular assemblies.
• Packages carry weld symbols, bolt callouts, and dimensions for fit-up.
• Maintain library discipline: clean parts naming, templates, and standards.
• Handle revision storms with accurate released drawing packages.
• Knowledge of welds, bends, tolerances, and real fabrication clearances.
• Bonus: Tekla, Advance Steel, BIM coordination with Revit or Plant 3D.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed mechanical and structural models and drawings for fabrication.
• Detail steel and mechanical systems to fabrication level with full precision.
• Turn engineering changes into updated drawing packages with revision control.
• Own model hygiene: enforce standards, libraries, and templates for future units.
• Collaborate with the modular team and coordinate with other disciplines as needed.
