Job summary

Cupertino Electric, Inc. (CEI) is hiring an Assistant Project Manager for modular projects and data centers. The role supports the Project Manager, coordinating field and project teams, and ensuring tight control of documentation, change orders, and submittals.

You will guide project engineers and coordinators, build vendor partnerships, and foster learning to prepare you for broader Project Manager responsibilities within CEI’s modular team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in construction management, business, engineering or similar.
• 3+ years as a Project Engineer in electrical construction or MEP experience in general contracting.
• 5+ years of related project experience including managing smaller projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate between field team, project team, and customers.
• Review and track project activities, including change orders and submittals.
• Direct work of Project Engineers and Coordinators with the Project Manager.
• Maintain strong vendor and subcontractor partnerships.
