Job summary

Impact Housing is seeking a Sr. Project Superintendent to lead field construction for multifamily projects. You will oversee trades, manage schedules, and apply Lean Construction practices to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.

You will supervise project field activities, coordinate with subcontractors, and support budgeting, safety, and quality control while maintaining daily site documentation and progress reporting.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of building construction experience.
• 5+ years supervising all phases of ground-up multi-family residential construction projects.
• Experience with Type III & ID multifamily residential projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, line and grade, shoring, mass excavation, concrete, steel and wood structural systems.
• Solid computer skills, with MS Office.
• Modular experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field construction, organizing, planning, coordination and scheduling.
• Implement Lean Construction methodologies.
• Develop on-site plans from drawings and specifications; lead on-site procedures.
• Plan the construction program, including layout, equipment, manpower and temporary services.
• Create the project schedule; coordinate with the Project Manager.
• Prepare and update detailed area and trade schedules to meet dates.
• Coordinate inspections and remedial actions per reports.
• Manage job labor relations with the Project Manager or labor reps.
• Support monthly requisitions and approvals with the Client's field representative.
• Lead safety programs and maintain safe work areas with regular site inspections.
• Review budgets for materials and labor and for equipment.
• Provide leadership in quality processes.
• Document daily construction activities; chair weekly subcontractor meetings.
• Assist in reviewing Shop Drawings and Submittals; support Estimating.
