Job summary

Whitley East LLC is seeking a General Laborer to assist with construction, assembly, finishing, loading, and installation of modular building components. No prior experience required, and training will be provided. The role emphasizes safety, following directions, and teamwork on a hands-on job site.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction or general labor preferred but not required.
• Ability to safely use basic hand and power tools or willingness to learn.
• Able to lift and carry materials and equipment as needed.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work for extended periods.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work well with others and follow directions.
• Strong attention to safety and quality is essential.
• Valid driver’s license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the construction and assembly of modular buildings and components.
• Load, unload, move, and organize building materials, tools, and equipment.
• Use basic hand and power tools safely and properly.
• Assist carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and other skilled trades as directed.
• Perform measuring, cutting, fastening, drilling, and other basic construction tasks.
• Assist with interior and exterior finishing work, including drywall, trim, flooring, siding, and general cleanup.
• Prepare work areas and maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
• Follow plans, instructions, and direction from supervisors and foremen.
• Assist with preparing modules for transportation and installation.
• Help with setup, installation, and final site work as needed.
• Follow all company safety policies, OSHA requirements, and proper tool/equipment procedures.
• Perform other general construction duties as assigned.
