Job summary

Whitley East LLC is seeking a carpenter to build, install, erect, dismantle, and repair structures using wood and metal across diverse projects. You will read blueprints, measure accurately, and work with tools and materials safely on site.

The role requires 1+ year carpentry experience, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a teamwork-driven approach in a physically demanding environment. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• 1+ year construction carpentry experience.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints/drawings.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform rough and finish carpentry tasks: framing, doors, windows, drywall, trim, flooring.
• Construct, install, repair structures, fixtures, and building frameworks using wood/metal.
• Read a tape measure and cut materials accurately with hand/power tools.
• Interpret blueprints and project plans for accurate execution.
• Safely operate carpentry tools like saws, drills, and nail guns.
• Assist with loading, unloading, transporting materials.
• Use PPE such as safety glasses and gloves.
