Job summary

Mobile Modular Management Corporation - A Division of McGrath is hiring a General Construction Laborer. You will support maintenance, remodeling and preparation of modular buildings for delivery to customer sites.

The role requires experience in construction, ability to use hand and power tools, and comfort working outdoors in various weather. It involves lifting, installation, and basic electrical/plumbing tasks in a safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in construction or related work is required.
• Able to work outside in variable weather conditions.
• Ability to use both manual and power tools and follow operating guidelines.
• Ability to use mathematics to calculate length, width, depth, etc. as it relates to construction and accuracy of specs.
• Ability to follow spoken and written instruction and work in a fast paced construction environment with minimal guidance.
• Ability to safely perform all tasks and understand safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Install structures or fixtures such as windows, doors, frames, flooring, trim or hardware per plan and code.
• Perform general maintenance, repairs and construction in plumbing, carpentry, painting, flooring, ceiling and electrical areas.
• Handle remodeling or modifications of modular buildings.
• Demolish or construct walls, including framing and drywall.
• Light electrical work: bulbs, rewiring, switches and outlets.
• Light plumbing work: install or remodel plumbing pipes and fixtures.
• General cleaning and material cutting to specified measurements.
• Participate in 6S and Lean initiatives in the workplace.
• Work Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm.
• Performs other duties as assigned
