Job summary

Guerdon LLC in Boise, Idaho, is seeking a Project Cost Estimator to develop and maintain accurate construction cost estimates across the project lifecycle. You will analyze project documents, prepare conceptual and detailed estimates, monitor costs, and contribute to contract documentation and cost management practices.

The role collaborates with Project Management, Purchasing, Engineering, and Operations, supports value engineering, maintains estimating databases, and aids in bid reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, accounting, or demonstrated equivalent.
• 2 years’ experience developing accurate conceptual through detailed cost estimates.
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft applications; Excel, Word & Outlook.
• Familiarity with NetSuite and Bluebeam desired.
• Proven experience working efficiently in team environment and establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with clients, architects, engineers, general contractors and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specs, and documents to understand scope and constructability.
• Prepare detailed estimates and cost models using NetSuite, Bluebeam, and Excel.
• Develop ROM pricing for early-stage opportunities.
• Analyze labor, material, equipment, subs, and overhead costs.
• Maintain project document control and bid documents.
• Coordinate with PM, BD, Purchasing, Engineering and Operations.
• Monitor actual costs and compare with budgets.
• Perform cost variance analysis and report trends and risks.
