Job summary

WillScot is hiring a Service Technician to inspect and repair our fleet of modular buildings. You will perform carpentry, electrical, plumbing, flooring and painting tasks, and ensure work areas are safe and organized.

The role requires the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, a valid driver’s license, and a willingness to travel to branch locations as needed. HVAC checks are part of the duties.

Qualifications

• Clear communication with customers, sales people, contractors and shop staff.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Carpentry knowledge and hands-on experience required.
• Electrical, plumbing and welding experience is a plus.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean record is required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and repair modular buildings, including framing and finish carpentry, electrical, plumbing, flooring and painting.
• Perform check-in/out inspections and document repair scope and damages for invoicing.
• Make modifications per customer requests and maintain inventory of tools and parts.
• Coordinate with customers to explain repairs and service expectations.
• Ensure trailers are ready for scheduled delivery dates and maintain safety standards.
• Complete delivery, pick-up and service paperwork and conduct HVAC checks as needed.
