Job summary

WillScot is seeking a Service Technician to inspect and repair modular buildings, perform carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and related work with a strong focus on safety and quality. You will lead on-site tasks, comply with safety policies, and ensure timely readiness of trailers for delivery.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, independent work skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. Prior experience in trades is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills for dealing with customers, sales people, contractors, and team members.
• Carpentry knowledge and experience is a must.
• Electrical, plumbing, and welding experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and repair mobile office trailers, including framing and finish carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and running gear.
• Perform check-in/out inspections and document repair scope for invoicing; create floor plans as needed.
• Make modifications requested by customers and maintain inventory of tools and parts.
• Provide courteous customer service and explain repairs to customers; ensure trailers are ready for delivery on time.
• Operate company vehicles safely and comply with safety policies and driving records.
