Job summary

Module Building Systems seeks an Architectural Designer to develop schematic and detailed construction drawings for modular building systems, on-site in St Louis, MO. You will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and project teams to ensure designs meet codes, budget, and schedule, translating client needs into buildable solutions in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM/CAD

Qualifications

Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design.
Proficiency in preparing and interpreting Construction Drawings and technical Drawing documentation for modular or panelized systems.
Understanding of Urban Planning principles and their application to housing, community development, and sustainable design.
Experience with architectural design software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, Eagle Metal, or similar BIM/CAD tools).
Knowledge of relevant building codes, standards, and permitting processes.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with engineering, manufacturing, and project management teams.

Responsibilities

Produce schematic and detailed design documents for modular systems.
Create panelized design sets and construction drawings.
Coordinate with engineering and manufacturing teams to align design with fabrication.
