Torch Technologies is seeking a Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Systems Engineer/Analyst in Huntsville, AL. The role focuses on data extraction, processing, and analysis of Army radar data to support high-fidelity models and simulations.

You will develop data analysis tools, work with cross-functional teams, and contribute to program reviews and testing events while communicating complex results clearly to customers. US Citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required.
• 8+ years of experience in data extraction, processing, plotting and analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, CS/Engineering, Physics or Mathematics; advanced degrees preferred.
• Proficiency in Python and MATLAB; experience with radar data and radar simulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform data extraction, processing, investigation, analysis and comparison of system data to high-fidelity models and simulations.
• Provide M&S analytical support for testing events and generate concise reports for customers.
• Develop and maintain data reduction and analysis tools; participate in technical meetings and reviews.

The ideal candidate would have a degree in computer science/engineering or electrical engineering, experience in data analysis and processing, and programming experience in Python, MATLAB, C++ and/or Java. Candidates with experience in data analysis and processing of radar system or simulation data will be given preference.**Duties & Responsibilities:*** In this role, you will perform data extraction, processing, investigation, analysis and comparison of system data to high-fidelity models, simulations data of Army ground based radars and effects models for the radars.* You'll provide M&S analytical support for testing events and offer feedback to customers when needed.* As a M&S Systems Engineer/Analyst, you will help develop and maintain data reduction and analysis tools, participate in technical interchange meetings, program reviews, integration and test working groups, and support meetings by preparing analyses and reports.**Required Qualifications:*** US Citizenship.* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or related field.
